NORMANDY 44 Commemorates the 75th anniversary of D-Day and Operation Overlord. For this release we've designed numerous custom logos and pieces of artwork, compiled several pieces of printed material, and commissioned several custom "extras". Each pen includes specific laser marking that is meant to highlight a specific element of the Allied offensive on D-Day and throughout Operation Overlord.

NORMANDY 44 “Amphibious” Ringed Retrakt is hard tumbled then matte anodized in olive green with matte black screws and clip, and a black coated click mechanism. The custom marking starts with the clip which has been laser marked “NORMANDY 44” in a font similar to WWII era military fonts. On one side of the pen is the broken circle star often used on US military ground vehicles. Bracketing the star are the words “OMAHA” and “UTAH” which are the names of the two beachheads stormed by men of 1st, 4th, and 29th infantry divisions. Opposite this mark is a logo that combines elements from several places. The diamond design can be found on some of the landing crafts used during the beach landings. Overlaying the diamond is a stylized anchor that was initially used by the British for their Combined Operations units. The United States adopted a similar logo in 1942-43 and we’ve used just the anchor from that logo combined with the diamond to signify both the Naval importance of the beach landings and the Army combat engineers which were key in taking the beaches and often fell under Combined Operations units.

The NORMANDY 44 pens includes a custom designed patch, K Shield Logo pouch, custom sticker sheet, and a NORMANDY 44 Top Secret Dossier of printed material. Each pen is designed and machined, by us, here in the USA.
