Yellowjacket Splatter 8K Pen Holder

Yellow Jacket Batch #3

Batch #3 is a slightly more muted splatter over the Yellowjacket for a more reserved look. We also wanted a flatter, matte-er finish and that comes through in the look and feel of this Yellowjacket Splatter finish. The base color for this Splatter release is Yellow Jacket (F-122), a bright, traditional yellow and over the top, our Cerakote applicator has splattered Armor Black (H-190). The effect provides a unique look for every pen with varying degrees of black splatter. 

The Yellowjacket Splatter 8K Pen Holder officially closes the book on the 8K pen holders for the time being. We rounded up the last 15 of the 8K pen holders and sent them off to Cerakote with lids attached so we could send this one off with a BANG. We really wanted to show off the texture of this Cerakote with a matte coat that is very flat and has a very “grippy” texture with a finer splatter of the Armor Black. This allows for more of the yellow to show while still being splattered. Internally the 8K features three custom cut foam pieces: a base of open-cell foam, a middle of closed-cell foam with four holes for pens, and a top of closed-cell foam with four holes. The lid is held in place with four stainless steel hex fasteners, and there are four rubber bumpers on the bottom of the pen holder to keep it from scratching your desk or sliding. The foam can comfortably accommodate all of our pens, and due to the nature of the foam, it can spread to allow for larger diameter pens from other manufacturers. Made in the United States.
