A Return to the Original Colorway
Our last full Bolt production release saw us lean into fully-anodized pens in single colors which was a big expense and a bigger risk than we’d imagined. Some of the colors resonated with the masses, others were abject failures. Plus the end result changed the overall look of the pen. In an effort to capture the original look of the Bolt, we’ll slowly be adding different Bolt colors back in their original colorways, but not in production runs rather these will be smaller special release sized additions to the website. The first to hit the site is the Blue Bolt.
The Blue Bolt Special Release features the standard Bolt with our super smooth J-slot, 5.5 inch form factor and original hardware specs. That means you’ll have the tumbled 400 series stainless steel clip attached with updated T8 Torx drivers. Our unique thumb-actuated knob is back to the contrasting silver anodize over polished aluminum attached with a stainless steel hex driver.
