Shipwreck Knox Copper INK fountain pen

Straight from the depths of the sea, comes the latest batch of beautifully patinated copper INK fountain pens. This is our latest INK in copper, featuring our updated shorter section to reveal more of the nib, flattened threads for a more comfortable grip, and Sta-Fast cap system. We’ve painstakingly gone through the copper INKs selected a very small batch of them and had Maestro Don Knox put his special touch to these pens. These have had a heavy etch applied to them to uniquely “score” each pen in a variegated pattern on the surface. The patina process leaves a layer of brown underneath a blue patina or green patina, each pen will have different levels of color with some being higher blue and others more muted. For the grips, we’ve left off the etching to leave the surface nice and comfortable, but he has applied the patina to the grips. We’ve matched the grips as closely to the pen body patina when we assembled them. These Shipwreck Copper Knox INK pens feature our new milled aluminum clip with Natural (Type III) hard anodize. You’ll be prompted to select from a variety of nib sizes prior to check out.

Each pen is unique in the amount and distribution of the etching and patina. Pens will be randomly chosen when purchased and sent. Please do not request specific pens or “looks”.
