The Mil Spec OD Green INK fountain pen feature a uniform coat of matte Olive Green Cerakote that is one of the nicest Olive Drab greens you’ll find on a pen. We’ve done this color before in VERY limited quantities on a few pens and love the color but the texture is even better; it is not slick at all instead provides a great grippable surface. This is a Limited Release colorway, specially priced in preparation for Fountain Pen Day.
The Mil Spec OD Green INK fountain pen Limited Release is our flagship fountain pen with a brand new Cerakote finish. The pen features our brand-new 100% in-house machined 6061-T aluminum clip. In the past, we used a stainless steel clip that was waterjet for us by a local company, and we milled the rest of the detail on our CNC mills. We now machine our INK clips from aluminum on our CNC mills, from start to finish. In search of a more standardized olive green than our anodizer can provide, we opted for Cerakote, specifically Mil Spec OD Green (H-240) for this relase. This Cerakote is a nice even finish that has almost no reflectivity to it and provides a great tactile grip. This release is limited in quantity and will not be re-released at any time. Select from a variety of nib options in polished steel and titanium. Features our black anodized grip section. Ships with a Schmidt K5 Converter and two black Monteverde cartridges in our recyclable packaging.
*Previous OD Green INK fountain pens were released in H-236 which is slightly more brown, closer to the Olive Drab color. This release is H-240 a greener shade of Olive Green.*

The INK is made from 6061-T aluminum, C360 brass, and Tellurium Copper on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Bock nibs are made in Germany. Schmidt converters are made in Germany. Monteverde inks are manufactured in Austria.
*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.
The INK is a full-sized, machined fountain pen that comes in aluminum, brass, and copper. The INK uses German-made Bock nib assemblies known for their quality and long life. Also included with each pen is a Schmidt K5 cartridge converter and 2 black Monteverde short international ink cartridges. The thread-on cap uses triple-start threads to securely attach itself to the pen and to allow the removal of the cap with only 1.5 revolutions. The new Sta-Fast cap features and internal silicone o-ring near the threads that seats on a machined flat just past the grip section, and provides a secure, tight fit that keeps the cap from coming unscrewed when pocket carried. We also test, smooth, and tune every nib before shipping your pen to ensure the nib is writing as it should. The nibs are tested using a K5 converter and our Karas Pen Co fountain pen ink which is made by Papier Plume. The cap does not post on the rear of the pen. Designed and manufactured in the USA.
