In an effort to keep the Vertex fans from breaking down the doors to the shop, we are cruising right along with another Cerakote Vertex release. This one features our latest color Blaze (FX-101), expertly applied to the cap and body of the Vertex pen. It bears repeating, you’ll not find a fountain pen like this on the market currently. Full Cerakote over aluminum for durability, but the FX series brings with it a look usually only found on shiny acrylics and alumalite pens.

The August Blaze Vertex Fountain Pen Limited Release is our pocket-ready, snap-cap fountain pen perfect for everyday carry featuring one of our latest forays into interesting finishes, metallic Cerakote. It features a uniform coat of the new Blaze Cerakote which is described as a deep, ruby-red pearl. That’s an understatement on the look of this finish. This is a color that mimics the heavy metallics found in auto paint. It’s looks wet and sparkly with a deep, dark rub red color. Our Cerakote applicator accomplished this by laying down a coat of Armor Black and then using a Cerakote clearcoat mixed with the metallic particulate that creates this unique color. You won’t see this type of color from any other application that will look this good while retaining some hardness and durability. We suggest pairing this with the matte black anodized aluminum grip section, but you’ll have complete access to ALL of our currently available aluminum and Makrolon grip sections. Select from wide variety of polished steel nibs to further customize your pen to your specifications. Ships in our recyclable packaging with a custom vinyl sticker. Comes standard with a Bock polished steel nib. The #6 nibs units are manufactured by Peter Bock in Germany. Also included with each pen are 2 black Monteverde ink cartridges. Each pen is designed and machined, by us, in the USA.
