We’re back with one of the most requested grip profiles we’ve ever released, Dragonskin. We pulled out all the stops on this one with a beautiful colorway we like to call “Banned”. The matte red and black combination on the Dragonskin EDK profile looks absolutely sinister.
A fan favorite EDK grip profile adaptation is now available in the full stealth look that we’ve dubbed “Banned”. We’ve resurrected the “Banned” name for this release which references a ban placed on a shoe in 1984 by the NBA against one of it’s most popular players at the time. Technically, the ban was never actually enforced, though there was communication back and forth between the commissioner and the team and Nike turned the incident into a hugely successful marketing campaign the following year. To finish off the look, we’ve selected the black chromed stainless steel SKM 88 mechanism and stainless clip and screws in black nitride finish. Customize your pen with a variety of refills, we’ve got something to fit everyone’s preferred writing style.

The EDK is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot refills are manufactured in Japan.
The EDK is our everyday carry, small footprint click pen. We’ve maintained the external features of the pen with its grip rings, knurling, and heavy-duty clip. The updates on the pen are all geared around improving the functionality of the pen itself. We’ve added an o-ring to the lower barrel to ensure the pen doesn’t come apart when pocket carried. Schmidt made us a new and improved four-piece click mechanism, with the upper components all made out of stainless steel which increases the lifespan of the mechanism drastically. While the pen is designed around the Schmidt P8126* liquid rollerball refill, you can swap in any number of Parker Style refills to fulfill your writing needs and experience.
