This is the first special release of our new Frag grip curated on the INK V2 fountain pen. This release has been a work-in-progress for 8 weeks, with multiple steps being taken to create a unique take on our flagship fountain pen. First we heavy tumbled the raw pens for 24 hours, rounding off the chamfers on the cap and body. Then we sent the pens out for a dark matte olive green anodize coat. Once back, they were put through the Battleworn process for an extended period, softening all of the anodize and leaving them with an awesome look and feel. This release introduces our new INK V2 grip profile, the Frag pattern. We’ve adapted the frag pattern from our rollerball pens to our fountain pen grip, machining grooves in the concave of the grip with vertical and horizontal lines intersecting in the new frag pattern. These grooves add just a bit more grip and texture so you don’t drop your pen when you’re writing. When you check out, you’ll be prompted to select from a variety of Bock nibs in polished steel and titanium. Ships in our recyclable packaging with a Schmidt K5 converter, 2 Monteverde black ink cartridges, and a Karas Pen Co sticker.

The INK V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Anodize is outsourced to an applicator in Tempe, Arizona. Bock nibs and Schmidt K5 converters are made in Germany. Monteverde ink is made in Austria.
