We had a few leftover special K Series caps from the X Birthday release and decided to have them anodized gloss black and pair them with brass grips. With the machined rings that cross in an X pattern at the top of the cap, this look is quite unique. This design is another one of Josh’s experiments on our Swiss lathes, and the result is quite nice in black anodize and contrasting brass.
The Black & Brass Custom Limited Release features a specially designed cap created by our shop foreman Josh. These were mainly released for the K Series “X” Birthday pens, but a small amount here set aside for future projects. For this limited release, we’ve anodized the pens and aluminum clips the same gloss black and selected polished brass grips for the contrasting brightness of the brass, finally we’ve used black Torx+ fasteners for this release. This is a really professional looking K Series that sets itself apart from the standard release. Ships with a black Pilot G2 refill.
Limited Availability
The K Series V2 are made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC Swiss lathes, CNC machining centers, and CNC mills in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot G2 refills are made in Japan.
