Limited Release

We’re adding a new F Series color to the mix, the Bolt Blue (F-121). This color is described as a “Xylan 1424 replacement blue solid tone with a semi-gloss finish”. Xylan 1424 is a corrosion resistant flouropolymer that has a very unique blue color and is used for fasteners largely in watercraft and other offshore structures.

The Bolt Blue Dragonskin EDK Limited Release is our fan-favorite Dragonskin grip on the pocket carry-able EDK pen. Our Cerakote applicator has put on a beautiful coat of Bolt Blue (F-121)  that is described as a “Xylan 1424 replacement blue solid tone with a semi-gloss finish.”. This is a wonderful, opaque blue with no shimmer, and a true semi-gloss aspect. The uniform finish provides a mild shine with light reflectivity and a slight color shift depending on natural lightig vs indoor lighting. It’s unlike any of the blues we get through anodize or the previous Cerakote colors, especially given the texture has a nice tactile feel to it. We’re pairing these with black anodized hardware which contrasts nicely with the blue. Comes outfitted with the Schmidt P8126 refill with black ink.

The EDK is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot refills are manufactured in Japan.

The EDK is our everyday carry, small footprint click pen. We’ve maintained the external features of the pen with its grip rings, knurling, and heavy-duty clip. The updates on the pen are all geared around improving the functionality of the pen itself. We’ve added an o-ring to the lower barrel to ensure the pen doesn’t come apart when pocket carried. Schmidt made us a new and improved four-piece click mechanism, with the upper components all made out of stainless steel which increases the lifespan of the mechanism drastically. While the pen is designed around the Schmidt P8126* liquid rollerball refill, you can swap in any number of Parker Style refills to fulfill your writing needs and experience.
