Brand New Cerakote Colorway & EDK Profile
We’ve gone and done it again. A brand new Cerakote colorway that’s a trip down memory lane. Inspired by the black light posters you could find in the local mall at stores like Spencers, the Dark Mode Jawbreaker is a new splatter effect that flips the Jawbreaker on it’s head. We had our Cerakote applicator swap the base white color with a matte black, then he used Prison Pink, Hunter Orange, and Parakeet Green to create a splatter effect that POPS!
For the second release of the Hive EDK, featuring our honeycomb milled grip pattern on our click-style pocket pen. Our Cerakote applicator has put on a uniform coat of Armor Black (H-190) and over that has sprayed a layered, splatter of Hunter Orange (H-128), Prison Pink (H-141), and Parakeet Green (H-331) creating a brand new look that’s kind of reminiscent of the Jawbreaker mixed with a black light poster. We’re excited for this treatment in part because it looks REALLY awesome but also feels great with the finish providing added texture to the Cerakote. For this release we’ve chosen black clips, screws, and a black chrome click mechanism. Comes outfitted with the Schmidt P8126 refill with black ink.

The EDK is our everyday carry, small footprint click pen. We’ve maintained the external features of the pen with its grip rings, knurling, and heavy-duty clip. The updates on the pen are all geared around improving the functionality of the pen itself. We’ve added an o-ring to the lower barrel to ensure the pen doesn’t come apart when pocket carried. Schmidt made us a new and improved four-piece click mechanism, with the upper components all made out of stainless steel which increases the lifespan of the mechanism drastically. While the pen is designed around the Schmidt P8126* liquid rollerball refill, you can swap in any number of Parker Style refills to fulfill your writing needs and experience.
