PART 2 of the 2021 HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Every year we try to do something special for Halloween. No tricks from us, we’re in the business of only putting out treats this time of year. 2021 is a little different because we planned ahead. The plan is a three pen “collection” of sorts with custom Cerakote that’s been distressed. This look is fantastic and gives a kind of “raised from the dead” look. Read on for specifics on each pen.

The Dreadful Dracula Retrakt V2 is the second release of our 2021 Halloween Collection. A base coat of red Cerakote brings to mind bloody fangs of the legendary vampire, Dracula. Then the black coat of Cerakote is applied, partially baked on, then removed to distress the pen and give it that unique look. The distressed red has great texture and is easy to grip for long writing sessions as you pen your horror novel this November. Gee, our designer, has put together a super spooky sticker sheet for the Halloween Collection a corresponding sticker for each of the three pens, and a bonus “drawn-in-blood” Karas Pen Co logo sticker. The pen ships with a black Pilot G2 refill. Cerakote is known for the highest-rated hardness, flexibility, and durability for ceramic coatings in the industry.

50 pens available

*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.

The Retrakt V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot refills are manufactured in Japan.
