Description

This fountain pen ink is influenced by the beauty and allure of the Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon. The falls are part of the Havasupai indigenous tribe’s land. Havasupai means “people of the blue-green waters”, which is an accurate description of the water that flows through this area of the Grand Canyon and especially the falls. Not many people get to see the falls in person, the hike down to the falls can take anywhere from 4 to 7 hours. But the sheer beauty of the falls is something truly breathtaking. We wanted an ink that carried those elements. A teal that could shade from a light blue-green to a dark greenish-blue, like the variations of the waters that flow through the falls. Our Havasupai Falls Teal does just that. In a large nib or stub you’ll get a full spectrum of shading, leaving thin lines that are almost mint green to thick areas on curves that pool to a darker petrol-like blue.

Continuing our efforts to give the masses what they ask for, we went in search of a U.S. company that produces fountain pen ink. There are even fewer U.S. fountain pen ink manufacturers then there are U.S. pen manufacturers. Luckily for us, we already had a great relationship with one of those companies, Papier Plume. They turned their ink making prowess to the task and provided us with two custom inks made to our specifications.
