Holiday Hijinks – Saguaro Green Bolt

We’ve become wizards in turning lemons into lemonade, as it were, and once again we are faced with one of those situation where lemons showed up out of nowhere. The lemons in question come in the form of some Bolt in a strange yellow-green hue that isn’t really olive, can’t possibly be yellow, and is very far away from any other discernible color we’ve tried to get in the past. They were supposed to be our full-color matte Olive Green Bolts, but these won’t cut it. What do they look like? Kind of like the color of the saguaro cactus which is a bit of an optical illusion. The flesh of the saguaro is in fact green, but the cactus is covered in clusters of lightly colored spines. This overlay of lightly colored spines over the green serves as an optical illusion often making the cactus resemble a yellow-green tint; and that’s where we landed with this Bolt, Saguaro Green. It’s a matte finish, including the clip and knob, assembled with stainless steel hardware, and including a Pilot G2 refill.
