We asked, we negotiated, we begged, and our Cerakote applicator came through big time with a fresh batch of Jawbreaker pens. This is a test batch and relatively small in volume, only on the Dragonskin Bolt, but we’re hopeful we can get a few more Jawbreaker pens before the end of summer. If you’ve been waiting for this treatment, now is the time to act. These WILL NOT last.

The Jawbreaker Dragonskin Bolt is our most unique rollerball pen featuring a milled dragonskin profile complete with this special Cerakote application. The white is laid down in a thin, matte coat and then heat cured and finished. Then the blue, green, and red are applied in a fine splatter across the white. The effect creates a very similar look to the classic, giant jawbreaker. We’ve elected to pair these pens with a silver bolt knob and our stainless steel clip and screws. Ships with a black Pilot G2 refill in our recyclable packaging.

*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.

The Bolt V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot G2 refills are made in Japan.
