Jawbreaker Fountain K V2 Fountain Pen

Our Cerakote applicator did a test run of some super cool, fine splatter on a matte white surface. The look was nearly identical to the gigantic jawbreakers you’d get as a kid. We teased one of the test pieces and got a huge response, then we sent out several pens for this treatment in very limited quantities. We’ve finally received them back, and they’re available for purchase at this time.

The Jawbreaker Fountain K V2 features this special Cerakote application on the cap and body of our K Series fountain pen. The white is laid down in a thin, matte coat and finished. Then the blue, green, and red are applied in a fine splatter across the white. The effect creates a very similar look to the classic, giant jawbreaker. We’ve elected to pair these pens with a silver grip section and our stainless steel clip and screws. Select from a variety of nib sizes in polished steel; or upgrade to titanium. Ships with a Schmidt K5 Converter and two black Monteverde cartridges in our recyclable packaging.

*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.

The Fountain K V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Nibs and Converters are made by Bock and Schmidt in Germany.
