2023 SMALL BATCH #1
It’s been over a year since we commissioned the last batch of Knox pens, and those pens flew off our “shelves”. We’re happy to announce a new batch of these patinated copper works of art. The standard Copper EDK V2 didn’t get featured during our initial 2023 Knox releases, but we’re adding them now. These EDK V2s have been put through a special electro-chemical process that causes an etching on the surface of the copper and promotes a quick-acting blue-tinted patina. This finish is often referred to as the “shipwreck” finish, and that’s what we’re naming this edition. We have chosen the standard stainless steel clip, screws, and click mechanism for this release as the blue patina shows better with stainless hardware. Ships with a black Schmidt P8126 refill.
Each pen is unique in the amount and distribution of the etching and patina. Pens will be randomly chosen when purchased and sent. Please do not request specific pens or “looks”.
Our pens are designed, manufactured, and assembled in Mesa, Arizona. The EDK V2 uses material and components sourced primarily from the United States, but also from Germany.
