NEW SMALL BATCH RELEASE
It’s been over two years since we commissioned the last batch of Knox pens. In fact, those pens were all the previous V1 editions mostly of the Bolt and EDK. We’ve since made improvements to the design of our pens and added different grip profile options, and we thought it was high time we commissioned another round of Knox pens. We knew there needed to be some fluted versions of our pens, and the fluted copper Bolt V2 made the most sense. These have been etched and patinated via a special electro-chemical process that causes a unique surface texture and a blue patina that is applied to the surface of the pen. This finish is often referred to as the “shipwreck” finish, and that’s what we’re naming this edition. We have chosen the standard stainless steel clip and screws and had copper knobs patinated with a similar look to the pens for this release. Maestro Don Knox did a batch of 30 of these pens for this release. Ships with a black Pilot G2 0.5mm black refill.
Each pen is unique in the amount and distribution of the etching and patina. Pens will be randomly chosen when purchased and sent. Please do not request specific pens or “looks”.
Our pens are designed, manufactured, and assembled in Mesa, Arizona. The Bolt V2 uses material and components sourced primarily from the United States, but also from Japan.
