Back by popular demand, the Robin’s Egg Blue INK V2 fountain pen makes its second appearance. These INK V2 pens were professionally coated with Cerakote Robin’s Egg Blue H-175* with a Mil thickness of 2-3. This is a stunning light turquoise very close to the robin’s egg blue everyone has come to love and has a nice shine and unique texture. Cerakote is known for the highest-rated hardness, flexibility, and durability for ceramic coatings in the industry. The Cerakote was applied uniformly to the cap and body of the pen, while we are using our standard stainless steel click mechanism, clip, and screws. You’ll select your grip section and nib when you customize your pen. Includes a Schmidt K5 converter and two Monteverde Black ink cartridges.

*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.
The Bolt V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Schmidt products are manufactured in Germany. Monteverde ink is made in Austria.
