Prospector “Click” Rollerball Pens Special Release

One Last Hurrah

The Prospector colorway has been a HUGE hit for us since rolling it out nearly a decade ago. Blue anodized aluminum paired with brass looks stunning and the weight distribution is a huge plus in terms of the writing experience. With the EDK being retired, we wanted it to go out with a bang including this incredibly popular colorway; and since the EDK shares parts with the Retrakt, we tossed some Retrakts in the mix for all of you that love that pen too.

This particular Prospector Special Release features the EDK with three grip section profiles: standard 6-ring, fluted, and Mk II (frag) along with a standard Retrakt. The upper aluminum bodies and clips were lightly tumbled and sent out for a dark blue anodize that came out really nice. The brass grips have a test process used that is a heavy tumble with smooth stones with a temporary protectant liquid. The result is the brass has been polished but in a more aggressive manner than our standard polishing and the finished parts looks weathered but kept brilliant with polish. It’s a very cool look and one that was a complete accident.
