Just in time for our special Easter 2025 limited releases, we’ve brought back a fan favorite color, Robin’s Egg Blue (H-175). There will be a few different fountain pen releases and a special Bolt release all featuring this super popular, but these are very limited grab one before they disappear.
The Robin’s Egg Fluted Bolt Limited Release features our Bolt rollerball pen with a very small batch of the fluted grip profile that started all of the alternate grip profiles, just in time for Easter. These Bolt pens were professionally coated with Cerakote Robin’s Egg Blue H-175. Cerakote describes Robin’s Egg Blue as a light turquoise blue with an “eggshell/17” gloss unit level. This is a stunning light turquoise very close to the robin’s egg blue everyone has come to love and has a soft shine and unique texture. Cerakote is known for the highest-rated hardness, flexibility, and durability for ceramic coatings in the industry. We’ve contrasted the Robin’s Egg Blue with matte grey anodized hardware that brings the whole pen together. The pen ships with a black Pilot G2 refill. *Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.
The Bolt V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot refills are manufactured in Japan.
