Limited Release

Great News! We’re expanding the Sunflower (H-317) Cerakote to more pens due to the increased amount of requests we get for this color.  Bolt rollerballs with a few different profiles and the Vertex fountain pen are in the works. We’ll be releasing the first batch just in time for our Easter 2025 Limited Releases.

The Sunflower Vertex Fountain Pen Limited Release is our pocket-ready, snap-cap fountain pen perfect for everyday carry. Our Cerakote applicator has put on a beautiful coat of Sunflower (H-317) that is described as a “cheerful golden yellow with glistening gold and silver metallics”. We have a hard time sourcing yellow and frequently get asked for yellow pens; this turned out to be a great option when we saw the samples. The color is a gorgeous full yellow that is somehow brilliant but not overly shiny. The coating provides shimmer but is still “soft” that’s the best way to describe it. Besides the color, this feels amazing to the touch with a tactile feel that isn’t aggressive. The color has some shimmer but doesn’t shine with Cerakote listing this as a true “flat” coating. We’re suggesting you pair that with a matte black anodized grip section, though you can also choose from all of our available grip section offerings in durable Makrolon or machined, anodized aluminum. The Sunflower Cerakote and matte black anodized aluminum look stellar together, it’s a match made in heaven. Don’t take our word for it, check out those pics! Select from wide variety of polished steel nibs to further customize your pen to your specifications. Ships in our recyclable packaging with a custom vinyl sticker. The Vertex fountain pen is the latest step in our Design.History.Technology influenced Signature Series.

Comes standard with a Bock polished steel nib. The #6 nibs units are manufactured by Peter Bock in Germany. Also included with each pen are 2 black Monteverde ink cartridges. Each pen is designed and machined, by us, in the USA.

*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.
