PART 3 of the 2021 HALLOWEEN COLLECTION
Every year we try to do something special for Halloween. No tricks from us, we’re in the business of only putting out treats this time of year. 2021 is a little different because we planned ahead. The plan is a three pen “collection” of sorts with custom Cerakote that’s been distressed. This look is fantastic and gives a kind of “raised from the dead” look. Read on for specifics on each pen.
Zombie green Cerakote makes up the base layer then a partial coat of black Cerakote is applied, semi-cured, then stripped off to give this gross green Dragonskin EDK V2 it’s awesome look. We’re calling it the Ugly Undead Dragonskin EDK V2 because it gives off the green zombie flesh vibes. The look and feel of the Cerakote on top of the dragonskin grip is once again an absolute winner. Black anodized clips, black Torx+ screws, and our black chrome clickers finish off the final release of the 2021 Halloween Collection. Gee, our designer, has put together a super spooky sticker sheet for the Halloween Collection a corresponding sticker for each of the three pens, and a bonus “drawn-in-blood” Karas Pen Co logo sticker. The pen ships with a black Schmidt P8126 refill. Cerakote is known for the highest-rated hardness, flexibility, and durability for ceramic coatings in the industry.
50 pens available
*Cerakote is a temperature-cured, spray-on ceramic coating that is used in a variety of industries including automotive, defense, outdoors, and sports. While Cerakote has been tested and rated at the highest levels of hardness, corrosion resistance, flexibility, and heat; it is not nearly as durable as anodize. Like all coatings, Cerakote can and will naturally wear when carried against objects of a similar or greater hardness than the Cerakote. Cerakote can chip or crack if dropped onto hard surfaces. Be advised this surface finish will wear over time, and is not as resistant to wear or damage as our standard anodize.
The Bolt V2 is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Schmidt products are manufactured in Germany.
