Black Friday Special Release
We’re back with one of the most requested grip profiles we’ve ever released, Dragonskin. Not only that, we’ve put this one on our yearly Black Friday release of our Ultra Black pens. These totally “blacked out” pens are sometimes referred to as stealth, but we just like to call them Ultra Black. This year’s release features numerous pens with several grip profile options, the Bolt features the Dragonskin grip which is our most popular pen+grip combination.
It was always coming. The Ultra Black Dragonskin Bolt rides back in just in time for Black Friday. The yearly release of Ultra Black pens wouldn’t be the same without the Dragonskin Bolt as the figurehead of the pens we’re releasing, and this small batch is ready to go. Heavy tumbled aluminum parts covered from tip to knob in matte black anodize. Aluminum* clips to match and this pen is the perfect companion to any collection of “stealth” pens. Ships with a black Pilot G2 refill.
Limited Availability
The Bolt is made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC lathes and Swiss machining centers, in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot refills are manufactured in Japan.
*6061 aluminum clips are not as stiff as our stainless steel clips. They have more spring to them and can snap or bend if caught and pulled hard on something. They are more than adequate and stronger than many clips used on metal pens made out of lighter material. The anodize will wear over time, but it is more robust than the black nitride we use on our standard black clips.
