A birthday and an anniversary converge in one of our last Bolt V2 Limited Editions of the year, and we’ve gone ALL out of this release doing some things we’ve never done before and bringing some old school vibes back to this pen. The Bolt Kickstarter campaign launched this month ten years ago; to celebrate this birthday we decided to make some new hardware for a few Limited Edition pens being released this year. The first of those is also in celebration of our XIV Anniversary, though we’re celebrating a month late.
The XIV Anniversary Bolt V2 Limited Edition is our standard Bolt with a smooth grip, unique bolt-action knob design, and streamlined look and feel. We’ve been able to source a beautiful matte red that is almost an exact match to the red we use in our shop colors. For our Tenth Birthday celebrations, we designed and milled a custom aluminum clip that we feel fits our aesthetic and the look of all of our pens. This clip features a partially milled pocket running down the length and a raised “X” at the bottom of this pocket signifying the Tenth Birthday of the pen. We’ve gone with our traditional shop colors, but this time reversed; a matte red anodized pen body while the clip and knob are a lovely matte grey. This release is limited in quantity and will not be re-released at any time. Ships with a black Pilot G2 refill in our recyclable packaging.
Limited Availability
The Bolt V2 and custom 10th Anniversary clips are made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC Swiss lathes, CNC machining centers, and CNC mills in Mesa, Arizona. Pilot G2 refills are made in Japan.
