A birthday and an anniversary converge in one of the few K Series Limited Edition pens we’ve ever released, and we’ve gone ALL out of this release doing some things we’ve never done before and bringing some old school vibes back to this pen. The K Series turned 10 years old this year; to celebrate this birthday we decided to make some new hardware for a few Limited Edition pens being released this year. The first of those is also in celebration of our XIV Anniversary, though we’re celebrating a month late.
The XIV Anniversary K Series Limited Edition is the latest batch of K Series pens pulled off our machines, but with a bunch of special additions to this pen. First, we’ve decided to resurrect the smooth caps that we offered for a short period of time four years ago. This gives the pen a very clean, streamlined look that we wanted for this specific release due to another addition. For our Tenth Birthday celebrations we designed and milled a custom aluminum clip that we feel fits our aesthetic and the look of all of our pens. This clip features a partially milled pocket running down the length and a raised “X” at the bottom of this pocket signifying the Tenth Birthday of the pen. We’ve gone with our traditional shop colors, but this time reversed; matte red anodized pen body and cap while the clip and grip are a lovely matte grey. This release is limited in quantities and will not be re-released at any time. Select from a variety of nib options in polished steel and titanium. Ships with a Schmidt K5 Converter and two black Monteverde cartridges in our recyclable packaging.
The K Serues V2 and custom 10th Anniversary clips are made from 6061-T aluminum on our CNC Swiss lathes, CNC machining centers, and CNC mills in Mesa, Arizona. Nibs and Converters are made by Bock and Schmidt in Germany.
