Batch #3 is a slightly more muted splatter over the Yellowjacket for a more reserved look. We also wanted a flatter, matte-er finish and that comes through in the look and feel of this Yellowjacket Splatter finish. The base color for this Splatter release is Yellow Jacket (F-122), a bright, traditional yellow and over the top, our Cerakote applicator has splattered Armor Black (H-190). The effect provides a unique look for every pen with varying degrees of black splatter. 

The Yellowjacket Splatter Vertex Fountain Pen Special Release is our pocket-ready, snap-cap fountain pen perfect for everyday carry featuring one of our latest forays into interesting finishes, Splatter. These Vertex pens were professionally coated with a thin, matte coat of Yellowjacket (F-122) with a splatter overspray of Armor Black (H-190). Unlike previous releases that had a heavier coating of both, this new method leaves a surface that is “grippy” while allowing more of the yellow to show through. We suggest pairing this with the matte black anodized aluminum grip section, but you’ll have complete access to ALL of our currently available aluminum and Makrolon grip sections. Select from wide variety of polished steel nibs to further customize your pen to your specifications. Ships in our recyclable packaging with a custom vinyl sticker. Comes standard with a Bock polished steel nib. The #6 nibs units are manufactured by Peter Bock in Germany. Also included with each pen are 2 black Monteverde ink cartridges. Each pen is designed and machined, by us, in the USA.
