Not only can you choose the original Smooth grip, you'll also have access to this classic colorway in Dragonskin, Fluted, and MK II (Frag). We've never offered those grips in a standard colorway option before, and we may never offer them this way in the future, but for this 2026 Production Modal release, these are the available options. You'll also be able to select from four different refill options. The tried-and-true black Pilot G2 rollerball version is back, along with the black Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 ballpoint refill; but we've added the black Monteverde Gel ballpoint refills in Extra Fine and Fine as options because so many of you asked.

Proper, quality olive green anodize has become extremely difficult to obtain. Inevitably, it shows up with major flaws in the color or completely missing areas of anodize at all. We've attempted to circumvent that by eliminating the "bright dip" process completely and ONLY offering matte versions of this color, but the most recent batch of olive green Modals in matte finish had massive problems with this color. Over 65% of the batch ended up being scrapped. The resulting 39 pens have been put together with black hardware and are now available for this special release only. This release features TWO grip profile options and four refill options you can customize when checking out. Ships in our recyclable packaging with a custom vinyl sticker.
