The Original Deco-Black Decograph is here with more options for customization. The Deco-Black Decograph is the pen that began the Decograph series; designed and machined from premium U.S. made acrylic this was the first pen we designed meant for non-metal manufacturing processes. We’ve made some small changes throughout the years, but the latest Deco-Black Decograph fountain pen is as close to the original as we can make it. When we released this pen, it was only available with silver anodized finials and clip. With our expansion of the Decograph line to include a variety of materials, you’re now able to select from anodized black, polished brass, or polished copper hardware. These are still machined from US-manufactured black acrylic that we hand sand and polish to a brilliant luster. It’s truly a classic pen that is understated and has a dash of elegance thrown in for good measure.

The Decograph is our take on a traditionally styled, full-size fountain pen. Machined from solid thermoplastic (cap, body, and grip) and 6061 aluminum (clip and finials), the Decograph is our lightest pen yet. Weighing .72 ounces (20.4 grams), the Decograph is perfect for everyday carry and use. The clip on the Decograph is a single piece of milled aluminum that has been clear anodized to preserve the high polished look. The #6 nibs units are manufactured by Peter Bock in Germany. Also included with each pen is a Schmidt K5 cartridge converter and 2 black Monteverde ink cartridges. Each pen is designed and machined, by us, here in the USA.
