Periwinkle Dragonskin Pocket Modal Limited Release

The second Dragonskin Pocket Modal features a Cerakote color we RARELY ever release. Periwinkle (H357) saw a very small release years ago, and we haven’t returned to it because it falls in a weird color category many people call “blurple”. Technically this is a royal blue and does capture that idea of the purple prized by royalty mixed with the expensive blue created from indigo dye. This shade is also very polarizing which is why we haven’t brought it back until now.

A customer requested a custom Speedster in this color of Cerakote, and we needed to offset the cost of the Cerakote so we sent out a small batch of pens for Periwinkle. The Dragonskin Pocket Modal was one of those pens and received a uniform coat of Periwinkle (H-357) applied. Cerakote describes this color as “a deep and vivid shade of royal blue. This color will standalone, or pair well with many other colors.” We have chosen brass hardware because it looks great with this color, adding another level of class to this vivid, royal blue.
