Our third expedition to the far reaches of the galaxy with this incredible Cerakote application created by the supremely talented Aaron, owner of Area 15, the Nebula Series. Taking the multi-step process from the initial release of the Nebula Series INK, Aaron made adjustments to how he applied the colors and the colors he used for this third batch on the Bolt rollerball pen. The base coat of black is laid and partially cured over which the secondary FX series Cerakote is applied and cured, then the primary FX series is applied, hand blotted to create the nebula pattern, then cured, finally the stars are dotted on and a clear coat is applied and the pen is fully cured. The Heart Nebula Series Bolt is the first of three Nebula Series Bolt releases, including two new colorways: Keyhole and Pillars.
The Heart Nebula Series Bolt is a blend of Blaze (secondary) and Liberty (primary) metallic Cerakote. The Blaze is applied in a custom-blend mix with the black to enhance the base. The Liberty is applied with full coverage but at 3/4 volume, and then portions are blotted off to reveal the Blaze beneath. The 3/4 volume allows for portions of the Blaze and Liberty to blend creating portions that color shift from blue to purple, while the blotted areas reveal the red of the Blaze, and the primary areas retain the blue luster of the Liberty. This color shift is more noticeable with different grip options bringing out more red or purple or blue depending on the corresponding grip selected. Slight changes were made to the application of the white stars to soften them with a gentle brush technique before the clearcoat was applied. These changes mute the white "stars" a bit while allowing the colorshifting metallics to shine. Includes a black Pilot G2 refill.
This is by far the most labor-intensive Cerakote process Aaron has undertaken including the hand-worn pens we've featured in the past. Each color is limited to between 20 and 25 pens for this release.

Lifetime Warranty
We offer a comprehensive Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects on parts and pieces we manufacture in-house. We also offer a Lifetime Service & Repair option requiring the customer send their item in to us and in most cases we will repair items free of charge. If an item is deemed as being damaged due to negligence, a charge may be applied to repair the item and we will contact the customer in those circumstances. Items not manufactured by us MAY have a limited warranty, please contact us for questions via the contact form.

We specialize in producing unique and interesting limited and special release small batch products to ensure we have something for everyone. We partner with an ever-expanding group of artists and professionals to provide versions of our pens that range from hand-engraved to force patinated to hand-painted. Small batches range from 10 to 30 units some will never see a second release.
