This year marks the tenth anniversary of the INK as our flagship fountain pen and an expansion on our style and vision. As we gear up to celebrate the INK, we looked at the current layout of the pen and realized we’d make some minor tweaks this year along with some other cool surprises. The current inventory on the INK is pretty slim with just four colors currently in stock, so we need to send a HUGE batch of pens out for anodize. First, we need to get rid of all of the existing colors to welcome in the new batch of goodies. We’re blowing these out with a new clip and grip configuration. We’ve heavy tumbled the clips and and grips and left them in their raw tumbled finish. The contrast of the tumbled accents with the bright colors is a very nice look.
The INK V2 is a full-sized, machined fountain pen that is now available in a great rollerball version perfect for those of you that love capped pens. The thread-on cap uses triple-start threads to securely attach itself to the pen and to allow the removal of the cap with only 1.5 revolutions. The new Sta-Fast cap features and internal silicone o-ring near the threads that seats on a machined flat just past the grip section, and provides a secure, tight fit that keeps the cap from coming unscrewed when pocket carried. The Ink V2 Rollerball comes with a Pilot G2 (made in Japan) ink cartridge installed and also includes the ability to work with Parker ballpoint refills as well. Each pen is designed and machined, by us, here in the USA.
